About She Found Wealth

She Found Wealth helps high-achieving women build financial confidence, use travel rewards strategically, and enjoy comfortable travel without guilt, debt, or financial chaos.

Meet Jess

I'm the founder of She Found Wealth and the kind of financial educator who'd rather sleep on a wooden plank than go a day without my $5 matcha green tea latté.

I created this space for women who are earning, learning, building, and trying to make smarter money decisions — but still feel like personal finance and travel rewards are harder to understand than they should be.

I’m not here to shame you for your spending, your past money choices, or the fact that you want comfort, beautiful experiences, and the occasional splurge.

I’m here to help you make those choices with a plan.

BEFORE I WAS A FINANCIAL EDUCATOR

I was a low-income university student trying to stretch every dollar I made

I worked overtime when I could, balanced school and work, and still felt like the life I wanted was always slightly out of reach. Travel felt especially impossible. I wanted to see more of the world, but I also felt guilty for wanting more when I was already trying so hard to stay afloat.

That started to change when I began working at TD Bank at 18.

I went from learning about money because I had to, to helping real people make decisions about credit, debt, investing, mortgages, and long-term financial goals. By 19, I was working with clients on some of the same topics that so many women are still expected to figure out alone.

And the more I learned, the more I realized something important:

Most women are not “bad with money.” They were just never taught how to use money as a tool.

Why I Created She Found Wealth

I started She Found Wealth because I kept seeing smart, ambitious women feel embarrassed about money topics they were never properly taught.

Some were earning good money but still felt behind. Some wanted to travel, invest, save, or enjoy nice things, but felt guilty every time they spent. Others had credit cards, points, or financial goals, but no clear strategy connecting it all.

I knew there had to be a better way to talk about money.

One that was practical without being cold. Honest without being shame-based. Strategic without making women feel like they had to give up the life they actually wanted.

That is what She Found Wealth is built around.

My Background in Finance

My financial education did not come only from books, spreadsheets, or theory.

I started working in banking at 18 and was promoted from teller to advisor while still in university. In that role, I helped hundreds of people with real financial goals, including credit, debt repayment, investing, and mortgage preparation. As a former Investment Consultant and TD Bank Advisor, I held an Investment Funds in Canada (IFC) License and LLPQ license to serve my clients the best I can as a practitioner in the financial services industry.

I also bring experience as a former Sr. Data Analyst at CIBC, an Equifax Advanced Credit Certification, and Master of Management graduate from Schulich School of business where I studied finance, statistics, economics, and accounting.

That mix of banking, credit, data, financial education, and lived experience shapes the way I teach today: practical, clear, strategic, rooted in real life, with a sprinkle of ambition and understanding coming from someone that was not born with a silver spoon in their mouth but wants to make their life as comfortable as possible.

How Points Became Part of My Wealth Strategy

Working in banking taught me how much people misunderstand credit.

Credit can create stress when it is misused, but it can also become a powerful tool when it is handled responsibly. That is what led me deeper into credit card rewards, travel points, and points-funded travel.

I started to see that points were not just about “free travel.”

Used strategically, points could help me protect my cash flow, travel more comfortably, and access experiences I used to think were only for other people.

But I also saw the problem with a lot of points advice online.

Too much of it encourages people to open cards without understanding their spending, chase bonuses without a plan, or treat points like a game instead of a financial tool.

That is not what I teach.

I help ambitious women break free from financial trauma and confidently design their abundant lives.

BEFORE I WAS A FINANCIAL EDUCATOR...

I was a low-income university student worried I’d never be able to live the life of my dreams

My life 10 years ago looks completely different than my life today.

I worked overtime at my part-time job, when I could.

But, no matter how much I worked, traveling seemed out of the question on my tight student budget.

I felt like I’d never get a chance to see the world when:

Every penny seemed to be spent before I made it.

I barely had time to breathe, with a crazy schedule juggling work and school, and hardly any free time.

I felt guilty wanting to take time off when I had so much to do at home, work and school.

I felt overworked, underpaid, and frustrated with life. But I always had this desire to see the world.

These feelings motivated me to get a better job. By the grace of God, I secured a position at TD Bank during my first year of university. Despite juggling responsibilities of work and full-time studies, after a few months, I earned a promotion from a teller to an advisor.

As an Advisor at TD Bank, after helping hundreds of people achieve their big and small financial goals:

I started to crack the code on investing, money management, and using credit card rewards to book DREAM flights using points.

My Approach Is Different

I teach points through financial health first.

That means your travel rewards strategy should fit your income, your spending habits, your credit profile, your goals, and your actual life.

No business class flight is worth credit card debt.

No welcome bonus is worth financial stress.

No points strategy should make your money feel more chaotic.

At She Found Wealth, points are not separate from your financial life. They are part of a bigger strategy.

The goal is not to open as many cards as possible. The goal is to understand your money well enough to use credit, rewards, and travel planning in a way that supports the life you are building.
